Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and managing high-performing ML teams.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML systems.
- Experience with transformer-based architectures, sequence models, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong understanding of recommender systems including candidate retrieval, ranking, value modeling, and ecosystem dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate technical strategy.
- Passion for scalable and responsible AI solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Feed Relevance, aligning ML solutions with business objectives.
- Coach and support the development of your team, seeking opportunities to grow their skills and impact.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities and communicate team goals.
- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of relevance, discovery, and content distribution systems.
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to advance AI-powered solutions.
- Maintain high standards for system performance, reliability, and efficiency while applying responsible AI principles.
- Partner with recruiting to attract, interview, and hire diverse machine learning engineering talent.
