Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software (e.g., FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar).
- Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
- Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently (nice to have).
- Experience writing validation scripts (nice to have).
- Comfortable working from the command line (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
- Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow, including tool usage, clicks, and design decisions, is captured to help train AI models.
- Write and execute Python validation scripts to support design workflows.
- Solve specific engineering challenges such as fixed-wing glider design, propeller blade optimization, rocket fin drag reduction, and drone frame weight minimization.
