Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- 2+ years of extensive production experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
- Hands-on experience with ETL design, data blending, and complex transformation logic.
- Experience building and maintaining pipelines with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or dbt.
- Solid understanding of cloud data warehouse concepts such as partitioning, clustering, and materialized views.
- Experience with Finance domain data such as general ledger, P&L, or FP&A.
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaborative code review.
- Experience developing and documenting backend REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver Finance data into Snowflake.
- Implement data blending strategies to consolidate data from heterogeneous sources like ERP systems, flat files, and APIs.
- Model data using dimensional and modern approaches such as Data Vault or medallion architecture.
- Develop RESTful APIs to expose Finance data to internal applications and ensure performant backend integration.
- Collaborate with Finance domain experts and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines and monitor system health to ensure data quality and lineage.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure management in AWS using practices like Terraform.
