Job Details

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • First-hand experience serving in an admissions office or on an admissions committee at a US or Canadian medical school
  • Alternative: Substantial experience advising undergraduate students on the medical school admissions process
  • Professional experience in an advisory role with students seeking medical school admission
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments
  • Fast and stable internet connection for remote work
  • Highly motivated and interested in helping students achieve professional goals

Responsibilities

  • Advise students on every element of the admissions process including school selection, primaries, and personal statement editing
  • Review and provide feedback on application materials
  • Prepare students for secondaries and interviews
  • Guide students through the financial aid review and acceptance process
  • Communicate regularly with students via email, video conference, and phone
  • Report progress and coordinate with Blueprint management staff
