Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1–2 years of event experience, ideally in B2B, higher education, or EdTech.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for travel for 10+ events per year (typically 2–4 nights per show).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones.
  • Highly detail-oriented with experience tracking timelines, deliverables, and logistics.
  • Comfortable with public-facing tasks such as running a booth or hosting webinars.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Canva, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar marketing platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full event lifecycle for Guidebook's 10+ annual higher education trade shows and conferences.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics including shipping, AV, vendor coordination, booth setup, and breakdown.
  • Be on-site at every sponsored event to manage the booth, coordinate staff, and troubleshoot.
  • Lead pre-event planning and promotion including email campaigns, social media, and internal briefings.
  • Drive demand generation and manage lead capture workflows for pipeline impact.
  • Manage event budgets and track spend against allocations.
  • Execute post-event follow-up and create comprehensive recap reports within one week of events.
  • Maintain accurate lead source attribution and data hygiene in Salesforce.
