Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-7 years of experience supporting engineering-design systems, plant-design applications, or CAD administration.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Smart 3D or SP3D administration experience.
- Experience administering Smart 3D projects, environments, application databases, user access, and configuration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server concepts and Smart 3D database relationships.
- Ability to troubleshoot Smart 3D application, modeling, drawing, and reference-data issues.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support project schedules effectively.
Responsibilities
- Independently administer standard Hexagon Smart 3D project environments using approved standards, procedures, and change controls.
- Create, copy, configure, validate, and maintain standard Smart 3D projects, including site, catalog, model, and application database relationships.
- Provide routine and escalated application support to resolve issues involving modeling, drawings, configuration, access, and reference data.
- Administer project permissions and coordinate infrastructure-level access, server, and network requests with support teams.
- Perform model imports, exports, database copies, restores, and archive activities.
- Support Smart 3D upgrade and migration workstreams, including testing and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and global workshare partners.
