Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related STEM field
- Personal experience in math competitions with qualification to USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad or equivalent level
- Strong mathematical foundation and deep understanding of competition-style problem solving
- Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and inspire students at different levels
- Availability during Pacific Time class windows (Wed-Fri, 4pm-8pm and Sat-Sun, 9am-8pm)
- Commitment to at least one year (through May 2027)
- Prior competition math teaching or coaching experience
- Participation in team-based math competitions (e.g., BMT, HMMT) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Teach AMC10 / AIME / JMO competition problems virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform
- Develop personalized training plans tailored to students' levels and goals
- Create high-quality problem sets, handouts, and learning materials aligned with various competition systems
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, formats, and problem styles of annual math contests
- Guide and mentor students in preparing for local and international math competitions, including BMT, HMMT, and others
