Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- 2+ years working extensively with Snowflake in a production environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL design, data blending, and complex data transformation logic.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, or Prefect.
- Solid understanding of cloud data warehouse concepts such as partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaborative code review.
- Experience developing and documenting backend REST APIs (FastAPI or equivalent).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver Finance data.
- Implement data blending strategies to consolidate data across heterogeneous sources.
- Apply Snowflake-native capabilities including dynamic tables, streams, tasks, and materialized views.
- Model data using dimensional and modern approaches such as Data Vault or medallion architecture.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or dbt.
- Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs to expose Finance data to internal applications.
- Collaborate with developers to define data contracts and backend integration.
- Partner with Finance domain experts to translate data needs into technical solutions.
