Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience as a litigation attorney in a law firm environment.
- Experience handling general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, and commercial/business disputes.
- Proficiency in managing litigation cases independently from start to finish.
- Expertise in discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current admission to the State Bar of California is required.
- Client-focused mindset with a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage an independent caseload of litigation matters including general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, business, and commercial disputes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive case strategies from start to finish.
- Handle all aspects of discovery and conduct/defend depositions.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage law and motion practice.
- Interface directly with clients and opposing counsel to achieve successful case outcomes.
- Perform trial preparation and participate in mediations.
