Requirements
- Active medical license in the state of California.
- 1+ year of clinical experience treating substance use disorder.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards.
- Business-fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Passion for serving marginalized and underserved populations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Experience with telehealth is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients struggling with drug or alcohol use at all stages of their recovery.
- Perform patient intakes, follow-ups, and develop individualized assessment and treatment plans.
- Manage medications and handle urgent patient communications between appointments.
- Maintain program quality, clinical documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, therapists, and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
- Assist mid-level providers such as Nurse Practitioners with complicated clinical cases.
