Requirements
- Proven experience building and designing production frontend interfaces.
- Strong proficiency with server-rendered, component-based frameworks (Rails + Hotwire strongly preferred).
- Fluent in Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
- Proficiency with professional design tools such as Figma.
- Ability to work self-directed without pixel-perfect specs or a PM.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience with ViewComponent or Stimulus controllers.
- Ability to contribute to design in public via portfolio or open-source UI work.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development.
Responsibilities
- Take features from Figma design to merged PR using ViewComponents, Stimulus, and Tailwind.
- Manage the dashboard experience, including usage analytics, request history, billing, and API keys.
- Build interactive API playgrounds for real-time request testing and visualization.
- Maintain and improve the documentation and marketing site design system.
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards using a semantic color system.
- Optimize frontend performance and manage the JavaScript bundle to maintain high quality.
