Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 20+ years of relevant experience
- Subject-matter expertise in DoD UFCs, U.S. Navy Instructions, building codes, and relevant regulations for U.S. Navy facilities
- Subject-matter expertise in explosives facility renovation and construction (preferred)
- Strong management skills and ability to manage project portfolios
- Experience with design-bid-build construction projects, building codes, and permitting
- Expertise in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, fire protection, civil)
- Experience with vertical new construction, building renovation, and civil/site infrastructure projects
- Applicable professional certification or license (e.g., Professional Engineer or Registered Architect)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate/communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical expertise to design professionals
- Oversee engineering design teams for energetics and explosives ordnance facilities
- Ensure designs conform to DoD UFC, NAVSEA Instructions, and relevant regulations/codes
- Review submittals according to DoD, U.S. Navy, and ERG quality-control requirements
- Fulfill client expectations for quality, schedule, and cost
- Oversee post-construction award services
