Requirements:

• Qualified to practice law in England and Wales.
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in tech companies.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Extensive experience in marketing compliance and advertising regulations.
• Familiarity with legal frameworks in the UK, EMEA, India, ANZ, and US.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Deep expertise in EU and UK regulations, data privacy, and ESG.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Startup mentality with a can-do attitude and willing to take on various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including marketing and vendor agreements.
• Advise on compliance with consumer and advertising legislation across multiple regions.
• Assist teams in reviewing new products to ensure legal standards are met.
• Maintain Business's IP portfolio.
• Assist Fraud team in identifying and resolving fraudulent service use.
• Develop marketing compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide legal guidance on market entry strategies and local laws.
• Counsel on data privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.
• Investigate and resolve legal issues from member complaints.
• Build awareness on data privacy, regulatory requirements, and ESG compliance.
