Revenue Accountant

Requirements:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
• CPA required, with Big 4/Public Accounting experience preferred.
• Revenue recognition experience, including adoption of ASC 606.
• Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Amenable to work US time or night shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assist on sales contract review and assessment.
• Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards.
• Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions.
• Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis.
• Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team to analyze and reconcile customer accounts.
• Assist with managing and resolving Billing and Revenue Customer issues.
• Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements including SOX-related process improvements.
• Support and participate in revenue accounting and order to cash cycle-related projects.
• Assist in various projects as needed.
• Stay current on new revenue accounting rules and help develop appropriate policies and processes.
