- Act as a primary technical interface for customers on optical payload integration, imaging performance, operation, and complex investigations.
- Analyse electro-optical imaging-system performance at instrument and mission level.
- Investigate anomalous system behaviour across optical, detector, electronic, firmware, thermal, mechanical, calibration, and operational domains.
- Diagnose performance and operational issues across system and subsystem boundaries using evidence and engineering analysis.
- Own complex technical investigations from problem definition through analysis, recommendation, and closure.
- Coordinate specialist input from Optical, Electronics, Firmware, Mechanical, Systems, Production, or Product Engineering teams.
- Translate customer observations and mission concerns into engineering problem statements and actionable recommendations.
- Document technical solutions, findings, lessons learned, and recurring system behaviour.
- Support and mentor team members in structured investigation, systems thinking, and customer-facing engineering communication.
