Frontera Health is revolutionizing autism care in underprivileged regions with AI-powered tools that assist physicians in evaluating and treating children with autism and related diseases. We're developing a cutting-edge, tech-enabled platform that delivers essential therapies, focusing on health equity by leveraging AI/ML to create robust video-based data models for early intervention and developmental disorders. Our mission is to bridge the gap in access to care and provide personalized treatment plans, working closely with parents, caregivers, and clinical partners. As a rapidly growing company with a strong engineering culture, we're backed by leading investors like Lightspeed and Lux, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team. Our tech stack includes Python, Java, and relational and NoSQL databases. We operate in a remote-first environment and are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services, particularly ABA direct services, to underserved communities. This includes fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. Our Back-End Engineers will play a crucial role in building our backend infrastructure, working closely with the Full-Stack Engineering Lead to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable back-end services. You'll also collaborate with front-end engineers to build APIs. We are a seed-stage company with $32M in funding as of February 2025. We are looking for a candidate with minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Our commitment to innovation is demonstrated through our focus on the future of pediatric healthcare. We're excited to offer competitive salaries and benefits packages as well as the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families, especially in underserved communities.
