🔍 Computer and network security
- 8+ years of successful experience in an Enterprise sales role within the networking and/or cyber security industry
- Track record of over-achieving sales goals
- Strong presentation and story telling skills
- Proven ability to manage sales opportunities from prospect to closure, with a focus on competitive take-out
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information using SalesForce.com
- Extensive contacts in the networking/cybersecurity security field
- Prospecting and demand generation required with the help of marketing to build pipeline
- Strong negotiating skills and finding the win-win with prospects
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior startup experience required to be most successful in this role
- Highly competitive, proactive, ability to learn and adjust quickly
- Ability to travel a minimum of 30%
- Identify, qualify and close new enterprise-level accounts across the U.S.
- Execute a business development plan to over-achieve annual goals
- Identify and develop relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization
- Qualify customer requirements, budgets, timelines and decision making process in order to propose SixMap solutions that meet the customer's needs
- Represent SixMap at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the company, and enhance its reputation
- Use industry expertise to build credibility with a deep understanding of the cyber security market, trends, challenges and customer requirements
- Present solutions to the customer with a clear business and technical rationale, including pricing and terms negotiation to gain the customer's agreement.
- Collect feedback from customers and prospects to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for product roadmap or offerings based on customer input
- Collaborate internally and represent the voice of the customer in internal meetings
- Enter customer information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct customer contact into Salesforce.com to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities
