- Customer-centric mindset, ensuring rapid response to critical issues and a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience.
- Proven experience in hiring and growing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and collaborate effectively across time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor Team Leads and their teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and career growth.
- Lead the Performance Review & Org Chart domain.
- Scale engineering operations by structuring and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency as the team grows.
- Ensure teams deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, iterative environment using agile practices.
- Provide technical leadership in system design, troubleshooting, and debugging, ensuring scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives, performing root cause analysis on critical issues.
- Oversee hiring and team expansion, building teams from scratch and onboarding engineers to hit the ground running.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with Deel’s overall business goals.
- Act as a hands-on leader when necessary, stepping in for technical problem-solving and occasional coding tasks.
