Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Relationship Building: can build strong relationships and connect with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage, mentor and guide other partner account managers or similar roles.
  • Time Management: Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Advance knowledge Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
  • Position requires the ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter for business needs via plane or personal vehicle.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Plum leadership on additional revenue opportunities.
  • Manage Partner Account Managers.
  • Track partner forecasting and partner setup/onboarding metrics, and manage improvement of those metrics:
  • Increase the percentage of partner forecasts received and the accuracy of those forecasts
  • Decrease the time needed to onboard and launch partners
  • Identify and action areas of opportunity for process improvement.
  • General account management including but is not limited to:
  • Partner setup/onboarding
  • Forecasting
  • Monitoring distribution and compliance
  • Product discussions
  • Business reviews
  • Relationship building
  • Coordinate activities and onboarding projects between partner and internal teams as necessary.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled communications with customers to review overall customer health, proactively identify issues, and provide information and education on best practices and new releases.
  • Collaborate closely with our Plum GM and Plum VP to identify additional revenue opportunities for the business.
  • Schedule and orchestrate quarterly business reviews between clients and leadership.
  • Work closely with the Technical Account Manager to ensure all technical needs/issues of the client are being worked on effectively and communicate back to the account with regular updates.
  • Advocate on behalf of the clients with internal stakeholders with business cases.
  • Generate reporting and report on key metrics by partner.
  • Train partners on the various features and services available.
  • Keep strict confidentiality between clients and business communications with an eye toward compliance.
  • Able to read and interpret contracts to ensure that we follow them and that the MVNO follows them.
  • Motivate & encourage employees at all levels, creating an environment where team members understand the vision and strategy.
  • Provide training and development to direct reports and those under the span of control.
  • Recruit and train high-performing Partner Account Managers, and ensure effective coordination with other teams.
  • Provide quarterly feedback to direct reports and career development opportunities.
  • Set team and individual goals quarterly - ensure alignment with overall retention strategic goals.
  • Create measurable metrics for employees; both on sales results and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and empower employees by allowing them to perform their duties, and make mistakes, which can then be used as teaching opportunities.
