Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Affairs
  • Experience navigating SAG-AFTRA, non-union talent negotiations, and multi-platform content clearance
  • Strong knowledge of licensing agreements, production insurance, and risk mitigation
  • Experience working with talent payment platforms
  • Familiarity with navigating client-specific production guidelines is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail, contract negotiation skills, and legal acumen
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate talent contracts and likeness releases
  • Advise internal teams on union regulations
  • Work in close collaboration with casting agents on celebrity/influencer deals
  • Process all talent payments
  • Track active talent usage terms
  • Identify potential legal and financial risks
  • Provide day-to-day legal and clearance guidance
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Legal for escalated legal concerns
  • Collaborate closely with producers on vendor bids
  • Oversee production insurance
  • Manage worker's comp for 3rd party vendors
  • Manage/oversee all stock footage and stock music licenses
  • Approve all licensing agreements

  • Handle talent for both SAG Union and Non-Union productions; estimating talent session and usage costs, issuing and interpreting all talent contracts and advising on usage rights and other related issues, processing payments and drafting final completion reports for tracking purposes.
  • Responsible for the wrap-up process for all of our live action productions together with the Lead EP or producer on the production.
  • Work closely together with our internal legal team, including the VP, Legal & Business Affairs, with regards to production, intellectual property rights management, music rights, talent rights, and other clearance matters.
