Requirements:
  • AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a Mechanical Designer.
  • Hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD 2020 (or later), MS Office suite (Word, Excel), BlueBeam Studio.
  • Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning design, Plumbing design, and Fire Protection to NFPA.
  • Familiarity with North American Codes and Standards is a plus.
  • U.S or Canadian experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, senior engineers, project managers, and construction personnel.
Responsibilities:
  • Converts moderately complex schematics and/or design sketches into engineering building details.
  • Performs basic engineering activities including calculations and research.
  • Prepares drawings following office standards.
  • Coordinates information with other disciplines during team meetings.
  • Supports team members effectively.
  • Improves delivery timeliness while maintaining quality.
  • Utilizes industry best practices to ensure quality standards.
  • Keeps up to date with design trends and building codes.
  • Completes administrative paperwork such as timesheets and expenses.
