Requirements:

• AAS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience as an Electrical Designer.
• Hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD 2020 or later, MS Office suite, BlueBeam Studio, Lighting Calculation Software (AGI32, Visual), ETAP.
• Electrical distribution and power layout design.
• Lighting and lighting control design.
• Low Voltage design (fire alarm systems, communications systems, security systems).
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines' design documents, familiarity with North American Codes and Standards is a plus.
• U.S or Canadian experience is a plus.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Converts moderately complex schematics and design sketches, develops engineering building details to meet quality parameters, timelines, and budget.
• Performs basic engineering activities including calculations, code research, and laying out components.
• Prepares drawings following office standards and attends team meetings for coordination with other professionals.
• Works effectively in teams and focuses on improving delivery timeliness while upholding quality standards.
• Gains familiarity with design trends and code changes to enhance skills and implements them in project work.
• Completes administrative paperwork, including timesheets and expense reports.
