Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, causal inference, and experimental design.
• Experience with large-scale data processing using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive; knowledge of BigQuery is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python or R and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for Reddit and the online advertising industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and apply data science solutions to improve advertiser experience and performance of Reddit's ad platform.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and insights for enhancing advertising effectiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and implement data science solutions.
• Develop machine learning models to enhance anomaly detection, prediction, and pattern recognition.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in machine learning and data science.
