Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 1-3 years of professional coding experience.
• Current certification in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Certified coder designation from AHIMA or AAPC required.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and adaptability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Identify order and reimbursement deficiencies - both clinical and code related.
• Investigate and correct deficient clinical claim information.
• Identify and escalate missing or invalid clinical order data.
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams and manage multiple product projects.
• Research claim and account information using various systems.
• Maintain knowledge of medical billing regulations.
• Interact with insurance/third-party payors for authorizations.
• Participate in clinical data management activities.
• Translate data into meaningful information for decision making.
• Act as SME for coding and clinical operations data.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
