Requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated focus on Computer/Network/Information Security.
• 10+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer (Individual Contributor).
• 3+ years of experience working as an Engineering Manager, managing people.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth data analysis of various security signals to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement related to Oportun's financial products.
• Stay updated on various threat vectors and incorporate appropriate defenses into the Oportun platform, providing insights and recommendations for product enhancements.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to contribute to the development and improvement of financial products and the platform.
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the performance of product changes and optimize features.
• Leverage customer feedback, surveys, and research to understand user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
• Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track the security posture and product performance and KPIs.
• Work closely with various teams, including marketing, compliance, and operations, to align product strategies with business goals.
• Document findings, insights, and recommendations for product enhancements and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
