Requirements:

• Desire to lead by example and mentor other Android engineers.
• Experience in constructing architecture and components to enhance scalability and maintainability throughout the product development cycle.
• Familiarity with app profiling and debugging both logic and performance issues.
• Ability to focus on updating a large codebase with newly enhanced architecture and components.
• Champion quality, performance, and reliability through design and code reviews.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; capable of setting milestones and deliverables in cross-functional settings.
• Ability to communicate succinctly across product, design, GTM, sales, and support to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Self-driven mindset; capable of working on greenfield projects with limited input.
• Ability to adopt technology-agnostic software principles to Android application development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a world-class mobile application that integrates with backend services and external partners.
• Work within a small, multi-functional team that may include engineers, a designer, product manager, data scientist, and other roles.
• Take on challenging problems to design and develop solutions with a focus on user experience and satisfaction.
