- Define, model and lead algorithmic research projects focused on the analysis, segmentation, object detection and classification of complex images (satellite and airborne imagery).
- Carry out rigorous scientific monitoring of the state of the art in deep learning and computer vision, and proactively introduce new product methodologies.
- Develop and train models while optimizing frameworks to ensure fast, smooth and robust deployment into production.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Software Developers to ensure the interoperability of the technological building blocks developed.
- Collaborate actively with end users and domain experts to gain a thorough understanding of their contextual constraints and adapt the models accordingly to operational realities (occasional travel to operational sites is to be expected).
