Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in HR, with a focus on managing payroll processes and employee records
- A strong understanding of Belgian labor laws (essential)
- An eye for detail and a passion for accuracy
- Natural inclination toward process improvement and documentation
- Analytical mindset: proficient in analyzing HR data and deriving actionable insights for informed decision-making
- The ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions
- Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken. While French and Spanish are a plus, it's not essential
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in the execution of all Belgian HR operations (particularly personnel administration & payroll management)
- Handle day-to-day requests from Alaners (sick leave, out-of-office management)
- Enhance and scale current People ops processes (suggestions for automation) contributing to the overall growth and operational excellence of the Belgian team first, followed by the global team.
- Develop & improve a deep understanding of our tooling environment (HRIS systems/payroll processes)
- Give one-by-one counseling on confidential matters to internal stakeholders (such as un-wellness, misbehaviors, underperformance, departures,β¦ to name but a few examples), summarizing findings, and providing recommended solutions.
