Requirements:
3–5 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist (gaming or related entertainment fields preferred).
Understanding of the end-to-end video production process—from storyboarding and asset creation to editing and final render.
Proficiency with compositing, editing, or motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with real-time engines (Unity) is a plus.
Comfortable experimenting with AI and generative tools (e.g., ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, or similar) to automate or accelerate parts of the production workflow.
Strong problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot bottlenecks or technical issues related to video formats or rendering performance.
Excellent communication skills—capable of translating complex technical concepts to artists, producers, and engineers.
Eagerness to stay current on the latest industry trends, particularly around AI-driven content creation, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain pipelines for short-form video generation—from concept through final production—using AI-driven tools (e.g., ComfyUI) and more traditional video editing/compositing workflows.
Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure video content is seamlessly integrated into mobile game experiences.
Collaborate with central Core Tech to balance immediate needs of the game with the broader Series platform vision, integrating real-world insights for near-term deliverables and long-term success.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI-based video generation, compositing tools, and real-time rendering approaches to maintain a cutting-edge pipeline.
Document and refine production pipelines, share best practices, and champion continuous improvement in short-form video workflows—while training and mentoring cross-functional teams on emerging AI techniques and best-in-class processes.
