Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with Atlan's business objectives. Adapt strategies based on industry trends and stakeholder feedback.
- Manage and mentor engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for professional growth. Conduct performance reviews and set goals.
- Ensure engineering efforts deliver tangible business value for customers. Prioritise and address customer problems to improve product features and user experience.
- Lead technical discussions, contribute expertise in backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security. Define and track engineering metrics.
- Manage support rosters, on-call schedules, and release management for smooth operations and quick issue resolution.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, presenting complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
