Requirements:
  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas, generating leads, and closing deals
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage and persuade senior decision-makers.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple sales activities simultaneously
  • Comfortable discussing complex software solutions and able to learn technical details quickly

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identifying and engaging potential university clients through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling strategies
  • Researching and building a pipeline of prospective clients by targeting key decision-makers such as IT Directors, Deans, and other administrators in higher education institutions
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our software products and how they benefit universities, enabling you to effectively communicate value propositions
  • Conducting virtual or in-person product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of each university
  • Cultivating long-term relationships with university stakeholders, ensuring that our software solutions meet their evolving needs
  • Using CRM tools to track outreach efforts, manage sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts
  • Working closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless handoffs from lead generation to post-sale implementation
  • Staying up-to-date with trends in higher education technology and competitor offerings to effectively position our software in the market
