Requirements:
- 2+ years of outbound sales experience
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas, generating leads, and closing deals
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage and persuade senior decision-makers.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple sales activities simultaneously
- Comfortable discussing complex software solutions and able to learn technical details quickly

Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifying and engaging potential university clients through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling strategies
- Researching and building a pipeline of prospective clients by targeting key decision-makers such as IT Directors, Deans, and other administrators in higher education institutions
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our software products and how they benefit universities, enabling you to effectively communicate value propositions
- Conducting virtual or in-person product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of each university
- Cultivating long-term relationships with university stakeholders, ensuring that our software solutions meet their evolving needs
- Using CRM tools to track outreach efforts, manage sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts
- Working closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless handoffs from lead generation to post-sale implementation
- Staying up-to-date with trends in higher education technology and competitor offerings to effectively position our software in the market
