Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Handle tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data management, and process automation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Work with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
