Requirements:
- College graduate, with at least two prior internships or campus experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, or related fields.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week (Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- Ability to work at least three days a week in person at our Indianapolis office, with flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
- Demonstrated interest in communications, public relations, public affairs or related fields.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Individuals who are passionate about communications, public relations, government relations or issue advocacy are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Media Relations – including media monitoring and compiling media sweeps
- Content Creation – including op-eds, press releases, social media posts and talking points.
- Research and Analysis – to support the development of strategic communications plans and deliverables
- Client Relations – including participation in client meetings
- Firm-wide collaboration and teamwork on various accounts and projects
