Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in healthcare (Registered Nurse or Pharmacist).
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years progressively responsible clinical & leadership experience; healthcare industry clinical, sales and/or marketing experience is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of large account management or health system (IDN) experience
  • Experience in account management and effective collaboration with key influencers (clinical & business)
  • Effective leadership of a “matrix” team (associates who do not report directly to the role)
  • Proven ability to engage relationships with executives
  • Ability to travel 60% of time.
  • Superior planning, organizing and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills – verbal, written and presentations.
  • Excellence in ambiguity, adapting to change and embracing new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Overall Clinical/Corporate Relationship & Outcomes Management
  • Identify and anticipate the necessary goals to support the strategy and implement the initiatives with measurable return on investments that meet US Region business strategy across all the BD business units.
  • Influence and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders at the clinical executive and leadership level, to build partnerships that result in effective solutions.
  • Understand customers’ clinical needs through client-driven program assessments, articulate issues and gaps in processes and proactively identify ways that BD can help the customer achieve their goals.
  • Lead program management and implementation of a suite of customer-focused clinical initiatives and services that will support enterprise or system level practice/product standardization, outcomes-based initiatives, and standard processes which assist clinicians in achieving improved and desired outcomes.
  • Engage the appropriate internal resources necessary to collaborate with the SCVP (Strategic Customer Vice President) and collectively implement the account plan and clinical opportunity.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration within BD as needed to organize and facilitate meetings aligned to customer expectations.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric and externally focused organization by bringing the "voice of the customer" into the organization.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the health care environment, clinical trends, key market segments, and industry market trends.
  • Build and demonstrate strong understanding of clinical and health system needs and models to connect BU programs, solutions, and competencies with customer needs.
  • Actively engage in industry associations and meetings to acquire knowledge and identify relevant clinical and business partnership opportunities.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of customer needs and characteristics.
  • Engage multifunctional resources to effectively maintain the relationship.
