Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in an account management role, with experience selling large seven-figure deals to strategic accounts. Experience selling to large law firms is preferred.
  • Experience selling data, research, and/or content products.
  • Strong ability to cultivate relationships and forge strategic business partnerships, consistently surpassing net retention targets.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota and retention targets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and respond promptly to multiple ongoing workstreams.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven aptitude for conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings throughout the assigned territory (Midwest and East Coast)
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • JD preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for a book of existing strategic AmLaw50 clients
  • Drive key client interactions, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities within accounts (including cross sells and upsells), aiming for a net retention target of 125%+
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and an unparalleled customer experience
  • Work closely with Octus’ product team to identify and opportunities for product enhancements
  • Employ meticulous tracking and analysis of KPIs and product usage on accounts to formulate and implement appropriate relationship management strategies and territory planning
