Requirements:
  • 3 - 5+ years in business development within blockchain, fintech, payments, or institutional finance, with a strong track record in closing strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of stablecoins, real-world asset tokenization (RWA), DeFi, and financial applications in Asia.
  • Strong ability to engage, negotiate, and collaborate with institutions across fintech, banking, and blockchain.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with minimal oversight.
  • Capable of articulating Polygon’s product suite to institutional partners.
  • Skilled in CRM tools, data-driven decision-making, and growth strategies for scaling partnerships.
  • Collaborative mindset to support Polygon’s global teams and drive web3 adoption in payments.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, engage, and close high-impact partnerships with banks, fintech companies, stablecoin issuers, and enterprises in APAC.
  • Develop and execute a pipeline of strategic business opportunities that position Polygon as the go-to blockchain for payments.
  • Drive relationships with centralized exchanges across APAC to enhance liquidity and on/off-ramp capabilities.
  • Work with Polygon’s Enablement Team to expand the APAC ecosystem and onboard key players.
  • Own and deliver on quarterly business development targets while providing regular progress reports to leadership.
  • Work closely with the APAC leadership team to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the region.
  • Act as a key liaison for existing strategic partnerships, ensuring they align with Polygon’s long-term growth strategy.
  • Engage with Polygon’s RWA, DeFi, and enterprise teams to maximize adoption across different financial verticals.
  • Represent Polygon at high-profile industry events, conferences, and roundtables, leveraging your network to close deals.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, developer relations, and product teams to accelerate payments adoption on Polygon.
  • Gather insights from dApps, fintech firms, and institutions to enhance Polygon’s payments strategy and improve user experience.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to educate partners on the advantages of Polygon’s payments infrastructure.
  • Assist in marketing campaigns, exclusive networking dinners, and APAC ecosystem events to foster deeper engagement.
