Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar accounting role or audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in data management, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close procedures for our New Zealand entity.
• Assist with a range of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy across the Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Complete and review government statistical surveys.
• Support government grant submissions, including liaising with external accountants.
• Actively seek to improve internal processes and contribute to automation projects.
• Participate in internal and external financial reporting, including audits and quarterly reviews.
