Requirements:

Background in video streaming, with a focus on user-generated content live streaming technologies.
Solid experience with video ingestion, live streaming, encoding and decoding, and other software engineering principals and architectures required for a resilient, scalable, and secure video cloud infrastructure (we use AWS).
Experience leading teams with a focus on collaboration and achieving high-quality product goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead the team through the designing, building, and supporting of our video capabilities, including third-party device support (such as GoPro and Mevo), mobile first-party live broadcasting/capture, ingest, transcode, storage, and playback.
Partner with engineering and our infrastructure teams to manage a resilient, scalable, and efficient video pipeline.
Collaborate with other feature teams to contribute to GC’s overall vision for video streaming technology, influence product decisions, and build video capabilities.
