Senior DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• Proven experience in architecting, managing and securing AWS cloud services.
• Demonstrated expertise with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• In-depth experience with setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
• Strong skills in scripting languages like Python, or Bash, to automate tasks and integrate systems.
• Solid understanding and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code deployments of cloud resources on AWS, using Terraform, that are reproducible and consistent across environments.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications. Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or ISO 27001.
• Conduct thorough assessments of the company's infrastructure to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident management, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews, to improve system reliability and prevent future incidents.
• Analyze system performance and optimize applications, databases, and infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate different systems.
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or catastrophic events.
