Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university
  • Considerable years of experience with Power Generation equipment installation, operation, service, technical support
  • Some years of project/program management experience
Responsibilities:
  • Own evaluation, planning, implementation and closure of fleet containment/corrective actions derived from Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Develop fleet implementation strategies, determine detailed costs to GE Vernova and identify the most cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate across the organization with One Field Services, Parts, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Repair, Engineering, Logistics, Finance and other required functions to plan and implement technical solutions to resolve complex fleet issues
  • Provide program management services to execute top issue fleet programs across all affected regions
  • Lead internal communications on fleet program status; Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
  • Serve as the focal point for customer and business strategy discussions on fleet issues affecting GE Vernova-Gas Power equipment
  • Lead consistent communications internally across the business and externally with customers/vendors to ensure appropriate, controlled messaging with fluid coordination of activities
  • Tie into Product Service, Engineering, SQE, Product Safety and other processes to assist in the proactive identification of new Top Issues; Develop effective risk mitigation strategies to address them
  • Understand the challenges faced by the customer and negotiate strategic/commercial decisions that meet both GE Vernova and customer interests
  • Develop strong ties with GE Vernova-Gas Power functional leaders, proactively identify and resolve process gaps and guide other teams in issue resolution such that fleet implementation plans are appropriately developed and execution teams efficiently coordinated
  • Serve as the GE Vernova point of contact for specific fleet technical issues/customer situations regarding corrective actions to a Top Issue
  • Critically assess proposed fleet issue solutions as they develop from Engineering assessment or Root Cause Analysis
  • Assess business, financial, competitive and commercial risk effectively; Influence functional stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions
  • Provide input to Parts/Fulfillment teams and Asset Management regarding issue implications and asset forecasting; Prioritize fleet and assist with logistical delivery of parts required to support planned/unplanned outages
  • Aid in the development of key metrics that promote accountability and ensure timely closure of issues
  • Utilize varied software tools to perform fleet program data analytics
  • Participate in Lean Action Workouts and/or lead Kaizen projects to improve internal processes and support continuous improvement efforts
