QA Automation Engineer II

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience testing web and mobile applications
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automation suites for web and mobile applications
• Prior experience creating automated tests with Typescript/JavaScript
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and SDLC concepts: code review best practices, code coverage analysis, continuous test and delivery
• Knowledge of Testing Pyramid and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Review and create functional specifications, technical design documents, test plans and test cases, and provide meaningful feedback
• Identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases
• Maintain and extend automation framework (Cypress/Playwright) to ensure our infrastructure is reliable, resilient and extensible
• Contribute on a product development team on best practices, processes and problem solving
• Develop automated test result reports and highlight any potential quality risks
• Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution
• Primarily work in an automated capacity but also partner with engineering team leads and provide recommendations on how to decrease efforts in manual testing and be an advocate for automation
