Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years proven experience with Esri technology in a collaborative, multi-jurisdiction environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the Esri technology including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills / relationship building.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication skills and desire to communicate the Esri story.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Senior Director, Marketing and Industry Solutions on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to Esri Canada’s technical solutions.
  • Establish connections between Esri and Esri-based technology and industry business needs via collaboration with industry leads and subject matter experts.
  • Manage the development of collateral resources including demos, videos, blog posts, podcasts, social media and other forms of communication to showcase the benefit of implementing Esri and/or Esri-based technology.
  • Manage the delivery of resources to showcase the benefit of implementing Esri and/or Esri-based technology at user conferences, conferences, seminars and webinars
  • Support the creation of collateral and digital content to showcase how Esri Canada clients have benefited from implementing Esri and/or Esri-based technology.
  • Guide and mentor members of the Technical Marketing team. Act as a catalyst to align regional Technical Solutions Specialists to facilitate and share technology demonstrations, product messaging and positioning content.
  • Provide mentoring to Esri Canada technical staff and educate technical staff through training, seminars, demos and internal sessions.
  • Maintain a repository of demonstration information related to public facing and internal demonstration content to be used to by Esri Canada staff to showcase Esri based technology solutions.
  • Manage the Esri Canada ArcGIS Online organization to promote collaboration of online content within Esri Canada
  • Maintain a high degree of expertise in core Esri software technology through training and product certification. Also develop expertise in new enterprise technologies (beta and new software) to support and train technical staff for new product releases.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Marketing and Industry Solutions in the development of enhanced product marketing and promotion methods and contribute to the ongoing task of making the Technical Marketing team more efficient.
  • Work with the Director, Product Management to help understand customers’ product experience and identify opportunities to improve the adoption of Esri’s core technology.
  • Liaise with Esri Inc and other Esri Distributors on issues and opportunities related to technical marketing.
