Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years of engineering management experience
Experience working in a cross-functional organization that designs, builds, and launches products for users with multiple stakeholders
Experience architecting and building user-facing web products
Strong coding abilities and system design skills
Experience with team leadership, including roadmap planning and project management
Experience managing or mentoring engineers

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3-5 product engineers
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions
Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture
Partner with product managers and designers to both create the team roadmap and set high-level strategy, as well as define technical requirements and timelines for specific projects
Write technical design documents that specify the architecture for new projects and consider scalability, maintainability, and impact
Actively participate in code review and technical discussions, and guide the team in resolving technical challenges and bottlenecks
Balance team resources across multiple projects and priorities, and ensure efficient execution on high-impact initiatives
