Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in social work, disaster management, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
2-3 years of relevant experience in case management
Experience in customer service, client intake, social services, CRM tools, and demonstrated experience using data and research to advise organizational decision making

Responsibilities:

Develop Individual Recovery Plans recovery plan that includes client input.
Conduct follow up visits to monitor and assess the effectiveness of services provided.
Document comprehensive client background information, case history, updates and progress towards Individual Recovery Plan in both physical and digital files via online software.
Prepare reports as requested.
Assist clients in identifying and obtaining available benefits as well as social and community resources.
Develop and maintain rapport with volunteers, acting as a liaison between geographic members and members in Team Rubicon’s Long Term Recovery Department.
Provide support in identifying new capability opportunities within the scope of Long Term Recovery efforts and report accordingly.
Develop and maintain partnerships and relationships across sectors and act as an advocate for those affected by disasters.
Flexibility to adapt to changing disaster landscapes and assume other duties as assigned.
