• Prior experience in garage liability underwriting or related commercial auto underwriting.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with the ability to evaluate various garage-related exposures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain broker relationships.
• Proficiency in underwriting software, rating tools, and industry databases.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite garage-related risks, including auto dealers, repair shops, service garages, and parking facilities.
• Analyze submissions and determine eligibility, pricing, and terms based on underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain and expand a profitable book of business by developing strong relationships with agents and brokers.
• Provide competitive quotes and underwriting proposals while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work with surplus lines carriers and internal teams to find creative solutions for complex risks.
• Evaluate policy terms, conditions, and endorsements to ensure proper risk coverage.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions impacting garage liability underwriting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and support overall business growth.
