NOC Analyst

Requirements:

• Understanding of key network monitoring protocols including SNMP, NetFlow, WMI, syslog, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft/Linux operating systems and Cisco, Dell, Juniper, and Palo Alto network devices
• Knowledge of Dell server hardware
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring a wide variety of information and network systems
• Recognizing, identifying, and prioritizing incidents
• Providing timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts
• Communicating with third-party service providers and notifying customers of issues
• Categorizing issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
• Collaborate with the Technical Operations team
• Creating and maintaining procedural documentation and monitoring alerts
• Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks
• Building, configuring, and installing servers
• Remote management and configuration of server hardware
• Replace malfunctioning or underperforming hardware
• Conduct periodic visits to datacenters
