Requirements:
- Law degree; from a nationally accredited U.S. law school preferred.
- 2-5 years’ legal, corporate and operations experience in financial services/real estate/mortgage banking throughout the U.S.
- Demonstrated experience with and working knowledge of U.S. federal and state commercial and mortgage lending laws, rules and regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and technology skills.
- Strong legal research, document drafting and writing skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance, and support in connection with corporate transactions.
- Prepare and review agreements between affiliates.
- Maintain a best practices corporate governance environment and protocol.
- Organize board meetings and draft minutes.
- Draft operating agreements, articles of incorporation, agreements, and other corporate documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence and post-closing integration.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
