Requirements:
- 3+ years in cost accounting, general ledger management, and inventory accounting
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Suites such as Google Spreadsheets; including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting principles
- Experience using Distru software
Responsibilities:
- Accurate recording of inventory transactions
- Maintain vendor 30% credit program
- Sustain accurate records of inventory transactions
- Investigate discrepancies
- Create and maintain financial records and reports related to inventory
- Audit and adjust inventory figures
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- General Ledger account reconciliations
- May assist in periodic physical inventories and cycle counts
- Analyze inventory data and recommend solutions for inventory optimization
- Maintain the integrity of accounting information in QuickBooks Enterprises.
- Ability to work on multiple books with intercompany transactions
- Support and participate in preparation for the annual audit
- Support and participate in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
- Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve discrepancies or imbalances
