Requirements:

• 10+ years of finance experience, including leadership roles in high-performing companies.
• Experience in SaaS business backed by Private Equity or Venture Capital.
• Operational leader with a proactive approach across the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Preferred residence in Raleigh, NC or Eastern/Central time zones.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong financial planning and analysis skills with strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives and Board members.
• Experience with external audits and preparing GAAP financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Implement strategic finance and accounting initiatives to drive visibility and decision-making.
• Strengthen finance and accounting operations by optimizing systems, processes, and metrics.
• Communicate financial goals and hold leaders accountable for performance.
• Work effectively with investors and prepare presentations on performance and risks.
• Manage accounting personnel across various functions including Payroll and Tax.
• Drive profitability improvement initiatives and oversee financial reporting activities.
• Execute monthly financial close with variance analysis and real-time communication.
• Partner with leadership to support business strategy and maintain internal controls.
• Manage tax, treasury, and audit functions to ensure compliance and quality financial statements.
• Recruit and retain a strong finance team and support M&A evaluations and integration.
