Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience on Unisys MCP systems.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a Master Control Program (MCP) environment, including EMC disk subsystems and Workflow Language (WFL).
- 5+ years of experience with Windows, Data and Structure Definition Language (DASDL), and Open Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP).
- 5+ years of experience with AIX engineering in lieu of Unisys MCP systems.
- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all Unisys ClearPath MCP OS, Network, and major software release planning and implementations.
- Implement and maintain procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports.
- Perform technical analyses to assess system performance and capacity.
- Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on mainframes, including client connectivity and application/platform issues.
- Research products and technologies, creating presentations and documentation.
- Establish and implement auditing standards for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments.
- Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommend improvement solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to provide support and guidance on technology solutions.
- Apply technical expertise to support deployment of technology architecture.
